"Hollandale" Five-color Poster

The Hollandale cover art is amazing, isn't it? The image was designed by Rick Allen (Kenspeckle Letterpress) who, according to his website, "works back in the 19th Century, printing his wood engravings and lino cuts in small editions using multiple blocks and hand coloring."

Chaperone Records recently released a five-color version of the artwork as a poster. Duluth artist Skatradioh did the coloring and printing (see here and here for a look at the process) and the results are stunning.

The poster is 18" x 24" five-color screen-print on 100 lb. craft paper by French Paper Co. Hand-numbered limited edition of 200 and now priced at $20. Order one before they're sold out through the Chaperone website.
